From camping trips to exclusive sports events and retreats, members engage in a variety of activities aimed at fostering camaraderie and mutual support. Men’s Retreat
Embark on a transformative journey at the AZBD Men’s Retreat at White Stallion Ranch! This two-day event invites male members aged 18 and over to connect, share, and learn in a supportive environment. Set against the scenic backdrop of Tucson, participants engage in activities like horseback riding, shooting, and archery, fostering camaraderie and empowerment. Join us for a weekend of growth, connection, and unforgettable experiences.
Men's Retreat 2025
The Men’s Retreat is an opportunity for men 18 + affected by a bleeding disorder or has a family member with a bleeding disorder from across AZ to come together to share, learn and discuss issues facing them.
This includes those who have a bleeding disorder a siblings, fathers, or spouses who are living with a bleeding disorder in their family. Its purpose is to provide men an opportunity to get together to share and learn in a relaxed environment, away from their everyday lives. It helps to reinvigorate, empower and network them to improve their lives and help them thrive.
The AZBD will provide a room at the Courtyard by Marriott which you will share with another community member. Please email Leigh Goldstein at Leigh@arizonahemophilia.org to request a roommate for the night.
Saturday, May 17th
- 11:30 AM – Registration at Courtyard
- 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Lunch at Hotel
- 12:30 PM – 1:30 PM – Opening activity and speaker
- 1:45 PM – 2:45 PM – Afternoon Educational Session
- 3:00 PM – Attendees Hotel Room Check-In/Free Time
- 4:00 PM – 4:30 PM – Dinner at Hotel
- 4:30 PM – Leave for Offsite Activity – Dbacks vs. Colorado Rockies (5:10 PM First Pitch)
Sunday, May 18th
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM – Breakfast and Morning Activity at Hotel
- 10:30 AM – Hotel Check-out/Event Ends
Boy's Night Out
Join us for an exciting Boys Night Out event hosted by AZBD! This gathering is tailored for male members aged 18 and over, providing a fantastic opportunity to connect, bond, and have a great time. Whether it’s an evening filled with games, entertainment, or engaging conversations, Boys Night Out is all about fostering camaraderie and building lasting connections within our community. Boys' Night Out- Topgolf
Join AZBD and CSL Behring on Thursday, April 24th, for a fun-filled evening at Topgolf in Scottsdale! This event is for men 18+ and will include dinner, golf, and an inspiring presentation from Perry Parker.
Perry will share how he turned life’s stumbling blocks into stepping stones, offering insights and encouragement along the way. Don’t miss this opportunity to connect with others, enjoy some friendly competition, and hear Perry’s impactful story.
